You scan the fronts, flip the stack over, scan the backs, and end up with two separate files that need to be manually woven together. For years, the only solutions were to either buy an expensive duplex scanner, manually drag-and-drop pages one by one, or upload your sensitive documents to a random server on the internet to let a free tool do it.
None of those options were good enough. That is why PDF Shuffler was created.
Our Mission: Privacy by Design
PDF Shuffler was built on a single, uncompromising principle: Your documents are your business. Whether you are digitizing personal tax returns, confidential legal contracts, or medical records, you shouldn’t have to compromise your privacy just to organize your files.
By leveraging modern web technology (specifically, client-side JavaScript execution), I built a tool that processes your PDFs entirely within your own web browser. When you click “Shuffle & Combine,” your computer’s memory does the heavy lifting. Your files never leave your device, and they are never uploaded to our servers. I don’t have a database of your documents because I don’t want one.

I built this tool because I needed it myself. The goal was to create the fastest, most secure way to interleave PDF pages without the bloated paywalls, file-size limits, or privacy risks of the major corporate PDF editors.
